Marvel Fans Noticed Where Key Details Are Being Edited Out of the Avengers: Endgame Trailer

Not everything is what it seems

Marvel is known to pull some shady shit when it comes to trailers. A number of the scenes in the Avengers: Infinity War trailer weren't in the final film, and were simply used as misdirection to keep fans from figuring out the entire plot before it was released.

By now, fans are wise to Marvel's tricks. And last night, Reddit users quickly pointed out where Marvel edited key details out of the new Super Bowl trailer. One Reddit user posted the below image showing where a character is likely edited out of two scenes:

So, who could be spoiler-y enough in this scene that Marvel had to edit him or her out? The easiest answer at this point is Tony Stark, who last we saw stranded in space with Nebula. Does Marvel not want to spoil the fact that Stark and Nebula make it back to Earth so they can help reverse the snap? This trailer also shows the two of them frantically working on building something—likely a ship that will take them home. Other fans theorised that it could Scott Lang, who made it out of the Quantum Realm. (Since we see him earlier in the trailer, it might not be the case.) Another option is this person is Captain Marvel, whose entrance into the Avengers the studio is trying to keep under wraps.

The takeaway here is, not everything is what it seems in these trailers. What is for certain is that they will be analysed and broken down frame by frame until the film is released on 26 April.
