More Clues Have Emerged About the Game of Thrones Finale

It involves dragons. Obviously.

Photos of the Belfast studios where Game of Thrones is being shot have given us what fans claim is an tiny insight into how it might all end in season eight.

A photo taken on 20 May and shared by the account Irish Thrones shows part of Daenerys's green screen dragon rig outside Titanic Studios.

Interestingly, that's also where the King's Landing set is, and over the last week the lot has been taken up with what looks like smashed up pieces of King's Landing.

Irish Thrones reports seeing "broken pillars, ornaments and King's Landing remnants" outside the studios, as well as ceiling tile props.

So: it looks a little like Daenerys may well rain down fiery terror on King's Landing come the conclusion of season eight.

There have also been a few spottings of stars out and about in Belfast. They're into the final stages of filming for season eight currently, so this could be the last time we see a sneaky, slightly-too-zoomed-in-and-grainy pic of Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke having a chat outside the studios.

One fan snapped Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) and Sean Bean (Ned Stark) hanging out in a hotel while Isaac Hampstead Wright (Bran Stark) and John Bradley (Samwell Tarly) have reportedly been spotted out and about. Obviously we don't know how all these pieces fit together, but is it outrageous to suggest a Ned Stark flashback scene? Elsewhere in Belfast, someone saw The Mountain popping into Boots.

Imagine The Mountain pawing through mounds of miniature toothpaste tubes. Brilliant.
