These Are the Most-Viewed Netflix Original Titles of All Time

Many of us have turned to Netflix this past year when we were forced to stay indoors because of quarantine restrictions. Binge-watching movies and TV shows was how we coped and stayed sane when we couldn’t get out.
That got us wondering exactly which movies and TV shows have been people been watching the most on Netflix. The streaming giant is notoriously tight-lipped about viewership data, but it has shared information about its originals over the years. Based on what Netflix has publicly made available, a Reddit user created this infographic about the most-watched movies, series and non-English titles on Netflix as of July 2021.

The Chris Hemsworth-starrer Extraction tops the list with just under 100 million views since it was released last year. Sandra Bullock’s horror-thriller Birdbox is second with 89 million views and Spenser Confidential starring Mark Wahlberg is third with 85 million. Rounding out the Top 10 Netflix original movies are 6 Underground and Murder Mystery (tied with about 83 million views each), The Old Guard starring Charlize Theron (78 million), Enola Holmes (76 million), Project Power and Army of the Dead (tied with 75 million each), and Fatherhood starring Kevin Hart (74 million).
Meanwhile, the top Netflix original TV series or documentary are Bridgerton (Season 1), The Witcher (Season 1), Emily in Paris, Tiger King, Stranger Things (Season 3), The Queen’s Gambit, Sweet Tooth, Fate: The Winx Saga, Shadow & Bone, and You (Season 2).
Reddit user Vickerspower also included the top non-English programs on Netflix, which is led by Lupin (Season 1) followed by Money Heist (Season 4), The Platform, Who Killed Sara (Season 1), Lupin (Season 2), Below Zero, Lost Bullet, Barbarians, Dark Desire (Season 1), and Who Killed Sara (Season 2).
