Apple's Dinosaur Documentary Looks Absolutely Phenomenal

Executive produced by Marvel alum Jon Favreau, Prehistoric Planet will be narrated by none other than David Attenborough.

Apple’s tech geniuses have found a new outlet: CGI. In Apple TV+’s official trailer for its dinosaur documentary Prehistoric Planet, viewers are going to see dinosaurs in a way that’s never been done before.

If you thought Jurassic Park and Game of Thrones had amazing CGI, just wait until you see this phenomenal trailer from Apple TV+. At just two minutes long, the official trailer of Prehistoric Planet already has our vote for best animation of the year.

This five-night documentary event will dive into the world of dinosaurs, visualizing the landscapes that once dominated the planet and following the dinosaurs we’ve only seen in books and museums. We’ve seen dinosaurs depicted in cinemas, television, and cartoons, but this dinosaur documentary is taking things to a whole new level.

Executive produced by Marvel alum Jon Favreau, Prehistoric Planet will be narrated by none other than David Attenborough. And if these big names aren’t enough to encourage you to watch the series, then get this: the award-winning Hans Zimmer will be scoring this epic documentary.

Prehistoric Planet will premiere on May 23 on Apple TV+. For a documentary of this scale, the release will be an official event spanning five nights. Save the date because we already know this will be a revolutionary moment for documentary filmmaking.

Apple TV+ is available in the Philippines for only P249 per month.
