Somewhere along the way, we forgot Stranger Things was supposed to be a middle-grade Netflix show. After a finale worthy of a sold-out cinema screening, Stranger Things has officially upped the stakes to epic proportions. Just a few hours since Netflix dropped Season 4, Vol. 2, Twitter is abuzz with fan reactions, reviews, and debates. It seems to be the only thing Philippine Twitter can talk about as the top trending topics are currently “Lucas,” “#StrangerThings,” “Mike,” “Vecna,” “Chrissy,” “Steve Harrington,” “Erica,” and “Robin.” 

Volume 2 blew everyone out of the water with a feature film-length ninth episode that had everyone sitting on the edge of their seats. Someone lived, someone died, and Hawkins will never, ever be the same. Suffice to say, the finale was earth-shattering, if you know what we mean. 

After ending on such a high note, we’ll have to wait for a year, if not years, for the next and last season of Stranger Things. Until then, here are some of the best social media reactions to the epic finale of Season 4.
