Squid Game Star Lee Jung-Jae Teases Storyline for Season 2

Squid Game star Lee Jung-jae has opened up on his expectations on the second season of Netflix's hit survival drama.
The South Korean actor plays protagonist Seong Gi-hun, a man addicted to gambling who is recruited, together with other cash-strapped people, to play a series of children's games for the chance to win a substantial amount of money.
The catch? The punishment for those losing said games is far more dangerous than anyone had anticipated.

At the end of the first season, Gi-hun is crowned winner and gets back to his life. After making sure the relatives of those who couldn't finish the games were looked after, the protagonist seemingly decides to go back to the arena where the competition was held in order to get his revenge.
Ahead of the hotly anticipated season two, Lee has discussed his character's fate with the show's creator, Hwang Dong-hyuk.
"I have no idea what will happen or the scale of it, but the only thing [Hwang] did tell me was that Seong Gi-hun is going to be in the show again, and he's going to be playing in the arena again," he told People.

The actor also said he would love for season two of Squid Game to have some more twists up its sleeve, much like that big reveal in the last episode.
"I hope there's some sort of twist that'll be exciting and surprising for me and the viewers," Lee said. "If it was predictable, it would be no fun."
