In October 2017, Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Terry Crews revealed he had been the victim of sexual harassment by a then-unnamed Hollywood executive who he alleges "groped [his] privates" at an event in February 2016. The following month, Crews filed a report to the LAPD and ultimately named WME agent Adam Venit as the man who allegedly harassed him.

Nearly a year later, and a few months after Crews testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee as an advocate for the Sexual Assault Surivors' Bill of Rights, Crews has revealed that he has settled with both WME and Adam Venit (who resigned from his post at the agency this month).

Crews posted on Twitter today a letter addressed to him from Venit, dated March 22, 2018. In the letter, Venit issues a formal apology to the actor and asks for his forgiveness.

Crews's tweet indicates that he accepted the apology along with Venit's resignation, which was official on September 10.
