There are 'Avengers: Endgame' Spoilers Hidden in the New 'Agents of Shield' Trailer
According to a new fan theory, we've been given Avengers: Endgame spoilers hidden in plain sight. It's all based on a couple of details from the new Agents of Shield trailer which dropped this week and which is assumed to be set after the events of Endgame.
Firstly, there's the fact that a tractor bursts through two cars bearing Shield's very distinctive logo. Shield hasn't been particularly welcome in public for some time, but the fact that they're out and about again suggests that Endgame will see some kind of high profile rehabilitation for the organisation. Using the quantum realm to bring back the Avengers and thereby saving Earth from Thanos and other assorted threats would be a pretty solid PR victory there.
Then there's the fact that Agent Coulson—the dead Agent Coulson, the one that died in The Avengers—is now apparently not dead. Trying to riddle out exactly how that happened is labyrinthine in itself, but a popular theory is that Coulson's resurrection is tied into Captain Marvel.
We know Captain Marvel will be facing off against the shapeshifting Skrulls, and one line of thought is that this Coulson isn't the proper Coulson of The Avengers and before, but a Skrull that's taken on his shape.
