Triangle of Sadness, the Cannes 2022 Palme d'Or Winner, Is Coming to the Philippine This November

Save the date. One of the best films of the year is finally coming to Philippine cinemas next month.
Triangle of Sadness, the critically acclaimed black comedy from Ruben Östlund, will be shown in Philippine cinemas nationwide starting November 30, 2022, exclusively distributed by TBA Studios.
Triangle of Sadness gained international recognition earlier this year when the satirical film won the coveted Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival 2022. It received an eight-minute standing ovation at its Cannes premiere, and it’s hard not to see why. Vox described it as “blunt as a battering ram, and very, very 2022,” and Variety noted that Östlund “makes you laugh, but he also makes you think.”
Starring veteran Filipino actress Dolly de Leon as the questionable cleaning lady Abigail, Triangle of Sadness is getting Oscar buzz, as is De Leon. The movie tackles class conflict, obscene wealth, and the currency of beauty. It also stars Harris Dickinson, Charlbi Dean, and Woody Harrelson.
