Ely Buendia and The Itchyworms Have a New Song Together and It's Dropping Next Week

With the likes of Ben&Ben penning a song with Ebe Dancel, Rico Blanco collaborating with IV of Spades, and yes, even Moira Dela Torre's airy vocals on a Jose Mari Chan Christmas track, it's impossible to not be excited at the idea of more and more Pinoy artists working together. Next up on the list: Ely Buendia and Pinoy rock band The Itchyworms, who are joining forces for a track called "Malinaw na Malabo na Tayo." You'll be able to listen to it when it drops on December 10.
Buendia's record label Offshore Music teased a bit of the song on their Instagram page.
The song is part of Offshore Music Vol. 2, a compilation album which contains tracks from Offshore Music's roster of artists including ena mori, Buendia's band Apartel, Cheats (they've got a collab with Buendia, too!), OCS, Pinkmen, Jun Lopito, and Big Hat Gang. If the song's title is anything to go by, it seems like it will bring about a conversation about the state of relationships. The Itchyworms previously worked with Buendia for their August 2016 track "Pariwara" and 2018 track "Lutang."
In case you're impatient and really want to get your hands on the track when it finally drops, the whole album is available for pre-order on iTunes.
