Unique, The Juans, I Belong to the Zoo, and More Set to Headline G Music Fest 2022

There are going to be surprise guests, too.

For the first-time ever, Globe will be hosting the G Music Festival live this coming September 17.

This year's festival will be held at the Globe Circuit Event Grounds, Ayala Malls Circuit in Makati. Among the acts we should expect to see in this year's lineup are The Juans, Kaia, Matthaios, Unique, I Belong to the Zoo, JOEM, Lola Amour, Arthur Miguel, and Paul Pablo. Thai indie-pop, neo-soul singer-songwriter Phum Viphurit and K-pop girl group BugABoo will be playing some songs live, too. The concert may also be streamed through Globe VH Metaverse.

The G Music Fest was first launched during 2020 and was only streamed on Globe's official social media pages. In the past, the telecommunications company has invited performers like Ben & Ben, UDD, SB19, and American pop rock band LANY, among others, for its 917 Day shows.

Surprise guests should also be expected again this year, according to the brand.

“The past couple of years have been incredibly challenging for everyone," explained Globe Marketing Head Pia Colby. “A lot of things have changed since the pandemic hit, but a lot of things have remained the same. We continue to be grateful to our customers and we’ll never tire of making wonderful, extraordinary experiences for them."

Globe has also tapped contemporary artist-designer Leeroy New and non-fungible tokens (NFT) artist TRNZ for the event. New will be unveiling his art installations on the concert grounds while TRNZ will debut his avatars, as well as never-seen-before illustrations to be officially launched in October. Festival goers have the opportunity to purchase their own NFTs through MetaverseGo!, as well.
