Kanye West Takes Aim at Pete Davidson in His Latest Single
In his latest single 'Eazy', Kanye West—who has legally changed his name to Ye—took aim at Pete Davidson, who is reportedly dating Kim Kardashian.
In the track, which was released on Friday 14 January, Kanye also raps about his divorce from Kim Kardashian, his children, and references buying a house next door to Kim's.
His verse starts, "We havin' the best divorce ever / If we go to court, we'll go to court together," before mentioning Kourtney Kardashian, saying, "Matter of fact, pick up your sis, we'll go to Kourt's together."
He then appears to make a jibe at the Kardashians' parenting skills, saying, "I watched four kids for like five hours today [...] I got love for the nannies, but real family is better / The cameras watch the kids, y'all stop takin' the credit."
Next up, Kanye raps about why he bought the house next door to Kim's, saying, "Noncustodial dad, I bought the house next door /What you think the point of really bein' rich for?"
Kanye then took a swipe at Pete Davidson, who has been romantically linked with Kim since her appearance on Saturday Night Live. Kanye rapped, "God saved me from that crash / Just so I can beat Pete Davidson's ass," which appears to reference the near-fatal car crash that Kanye survived in 2002.
After he calls out Pete, a voice, which sounds suspiciously like Kim's can be heard on the song, saying "Who?"
Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye in February 2021. He's now reportedly dating the actress Julia Fox.
