Filipina musician Reese Lansangan just got a nod from NASA as the agency chose her song to be part of its new campaign.

Lansangan's song, aptly titled "A Song About Space," was featured in a video campaign. The song is about Lansangan's fascination with space and all things beyond the earth. "I just wanted to translate my curiosity into a simple but catchy song," she says.

"When a song you wrote about space and exploration seven years ago makes it to NASA...I am OVER the moon (pun intended) and I don't think I'll ever get over it. Here's to endless discovery (and the hope that my music makes it to the ISS too)," Lansangan tweeted.

NASA created the #LaunchAmerica campaign to introduce "a new era of spaceflight," one that "returns the ability to launch astronauts to the United States for the first time since the end of the Space Shuttle Program in 2011."

The same campaign also hopes to shine a light on NASA's Commercial Crew Program, which makes transportation to and from the International Space Station more safe, reliable, and cost-effective. The whole thing will culminate with NASA astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley flying on SpaceX's Crew Dragon spacecraft on May 27.
