Everyone's all about wireless headphones right now. It's light, comfortable, and compact. What's not to love? We've had some difficulties along the way with electronic companies not getting it right, but it seems like it's getting better with each release.

That's exactly what Bang & Olufsen has done with the third generation release of the Beoplay E8. The Danish company has thought of everything: It's more compact and more powerful, too. The newest version is 17 percent smaller than its predecessor, lasts up to 35 hours, and has Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity. It's also been boosted with four microphones from the previous version's two.

The real highlight, however, is the signature B&O sound experience. According to the company, it's been "tuned by acclaimed Bang & Olufsen sound engineers for an authentic sound experience. Transparency mode lets you tune into your surroundings and let the world in with one quick gesture." Some very Bang & Olufsen-type details also are present outside, like the charging case covered in premium leather.
