Google Is Testing a Search Feature So You Can Easily Find TikTok and Instagram Videos

Now, you'll be able to see the clips in a carousel-type view.

Google has been stepping up its search game as of late. From a hum to search feature for songs and a better way to shop for items, there's been plenty of updates to help us all find anything and everything online.

The tech giant isn't stopping there. According to reports, Google is testing out a feature that will let you search TikTok and Instagram videos without the need for apps. Dubbed Short Videos, you'll be able to see the clips in a carousel-type view.

It's not a totally new thing either. Google has been indexing clips for years, notable only on video sites like YouTube. But, a Twitter user name spotted TikTok and Instagram on the feature on December 28. He said, "Noticed Google pulling in Instagram and TikTok videos into this 'short videos' carousel this morning."

How exactly do you use it? All you have to do is type in keywords related to a video and thumbnails will come up on your browser. The feature hasn't been completely rolled out yet as only a limited number of users have spotted it so far.

One thing's for sure, the feature will save time in the future.
