Does the HyperX QuadCast S have noise-canceling functionality?
Unfortunately, the HyperX QuadCast S does not have a noise cancellation feature but you can significantly minimize ambient noise by selecting one of its audio polar patterns on the knob.
For my interviews and online meetings, I always select the Cardioid pattern so the microphone only picks up sound coming from my mouth and not the surroundings.
Interestingly, you can set the mic’s polar pattern to Omnidirectional if you want to capture audio from a group of people speaking together around the microphone.
