Here's Your Chance to Join an Online Lecture by Money Heist's Head Writer

Instituto Cervantes de Manila is taking advantage of the quarantine by hosting an online lecture with Money Heist's head writer Javier Gómez Santander.
Besides being the head writer, Gómez Santander is also an executive co-producer behind the Spanish TV show. In his talk, Gómez Santander will share aspects of his career as a screenwriter, as well as secrets and details on the creation of Money Heist.
The lecture will be through Zoom, and is open to everyone on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants will also be able to ask questions during the lecture. The only catch? The whole lecture will be in Spanish. After all, Instituto Cervantes de Manila is an organization dedicated to promoting the Spanish language. (Questions in English will be entertained, however).
Money Heist, or La casa de papel, follows the story of planned robberies on the Royal Mint of Spain and Bank of Spain. The show became a worldwide phenomenon after Netflix acquired streaming rights. Now on its fourth season, the show has received several awards, including best drama series at the 46th International Emmy Awards.
Most recently, the show introduced a new heist maven to the team named Manila. In a video call interview with Preview, actress Belen Cuesta revealed that she was overjoyed to be joining the Heist family. "I am especially thrilled to be [a part of this] show, [despite] what's happening internationally...As an actress, it's thrilling to do [these] high action scenes. I look forward to [continually] working with Alex, and our director. Also, on a professional level, I think I'm very lucky to get to get to do something like this. This is very different [from] what I have been doing lately," she said.
