The New Leica Camera Just Arrived in Manila. It's Incredible.
Leica can do no wrong. No matter what the German company puts out, you know it's going to be a gorgeous piece of equipment. (Yep, it's safe to say we've drunk the Kool-Aid.) Case in point: the Leica SL2, a simple yet brilliant mirrorless full-frame camera that does it all.
The all-purpose camera, which is available at Greenbelt 5 and Bonifacio High Street Central, has gotten a big update from its predecessor in both performance and technology. It's been improved ergonomically, given a more comfortable grip, and updated with a three-button layout.

Inside, you'll find features such as a cutting-edge image stabilization system, a CMOS image sensor in full-frame format, and a color depth of 14 bits per RGB channel. If that's too technical for you, all you have to know is that combined, it delivers unparalleled superior image quality.
The SL2 has also been updated to do better in different climates, thanks to an even better weather sealing. It's something stockbroker, photographer, and Leica Manila brand ambassador Monty Papa highlights.
“I like shooting in downpours,” Papa says. “Shooting with the SL2 is both a tactile and sensory experience. The brand has devoted itself to improve the ergonomics which provides more stability and control.”
