OPPO and Jo Malone’s Smartphone Collab is the Year’s Most Surprising Hookup 

OPPO recently announced a special collaboration with British perfume house Jo Malone. Called “The Tale of Two Oranges,” the exclusive bundle includes the OPPO Find X2 Pro Orange Vegan Leather Edition, featuring exclusive wallpaper designs and music available globally, and a 100ml bottle of Jo Malone’s Orange Bitters perfume.

“The collaboration seamlessly enhances the human’s multisensory experience from the perfume, vegan leather, and cutting-edge technology within the hardware to even OPPO’s custom Android software ColorOS,” the two companies said in a statement. 

Jo Malone’s Orange Bitters add a new layer to the “multisensory experience”  of the Find X2 Pro.

Display

In terms of visual experience, the O1 Ultra Vision Engine, the phone’s most powerful display processing engine yet, artificially increases your video’s frame rates. 

Sound

The phone's sound also receives high marks, thanks to full-range speakers located at the top-center and bottom-right corner of the device. The sound has a solid sense of depth (thanks to its base) and a crisp timbre and ambient dynamics, which draw the listener in, especially when watching movies or listening to high-quality music. 

Further, the phone is supported by Dolby Atmos, which comes with OPPO Relax, a white noise app that creates serenity through soothing sounds, rounding up your cinematic experience. 

Touch

The Find X2 Pro is also easy to the touch. It was a good choice for OPPO to use the Y-OCTA touchscreen because it makes the device thinner and lighter, but also highly receptive to multiple and quick touches on the screen. A very high sampling rate of 240Hz means no lag when you click, swipe, or tap on your phone when you play games, watch videos, or take pictures. 

Vegan Leather

The vegan leather of the Find X2 Pro is environmentally friendly, waterproof (IP68), oil-proof, and resistant to high temperatures, humidity, and general wear-and-tear. 

Another advantage of leather is that it prevents fingerprints. The vegan leather is also seamlessly attached to the back cover for the distinct final look that adds character as it ages.
