Samsung’s new Galaxy S10 line leads the way in many aspects, but it isn’t without its issues.

Pixel users will be quick to point out that, while Samsung’s new smartphone boasts a very impressive camera, its night shots pale in comparison to those taken on Google’s recent handsets.

That’s all down to the Pixel’s 'Night Sight' feature, which effectively allows your phone to see in the dark by segmenting the camera’s exposure and pulling off a flurry of instantaneous magic tricks that we’ll never get our head around.

It’s been one of the main selling points for the Pixel 3, and many Samsung fans feel that not enough focus was placed on competing with the low-light feature.

Until now, that is. According to BGR, industry insider Ice Universe attended a presentation by the president of Samsung Greater China, and he made a comment that suggests the South Korean tech giants are working on a solution.

@UniverseIce: The president of Samsung Greater China said that it is considering opening the Galaxy S10's charging power to 25W and developing the handheld super night mode to the S10 series.

Samsung is reportedly working on updates that will add two features to the Galaxy S10 series, including 25W fast charging and a “super night mode” to replace the S10’s Bright Night software. Considering Google ultimately released Night Sight to all of its previous Pixel models, Samsung should be able to implement the same technology with relative ease.
