The Tamagotchi of Our Childhood Is Back As a Smartwatch

Tamagotchi is 25 years old. If you ever owned one in the 1990s, you'd know how absolutely ridiculous it seemed to own a virtual pet, whose lifespan depended on the expiration date of the gadget's battery. In 1997, the New York Times ran a poignant story about it: Love It, Feed It, Mourn It. That perfectly summarizes your pet's relationship with you.
The Tamagotchi Watch will allow you to relive that experience, without worrying about your pet dying of low battery.
Unlike the classic Tamagotchi, the new Tamagotchi Smart comes with a touchscreen and built-in microphone so you can interact more freely with your pet. The Tamagotchi can also interact with other Tamagotchis near you. Imagine Pet Society and Pokemon Go combined in one device. Pets can visit each other's houses, give each other treats, and play with them for love points.
A Variety of Pets
In the 2021 version of Tamagotchi, you can select from 10 new pets: Mametchi, Poptchi, Awamokotchi, Kuchipatchi, Gaogaltchi, Pyueltchi, Wawatchi, Tuyoputchi, Milktchi, and Karapatchi. There are also in-app purchases that allow you to add minigames, accessories, and skins for your animal.
