The Xbox Two Is Going To Be Way More Powerful Than The PS5, Say Insiders

Sony's release of a raft of PlayStation 5 details a few weeks back ramped up excitement for the next gen console, and having confirmed the long-circulated rumours that the PS5 will be backward-compatible with PS4 games it felt like the company had decisively stolen a march on Microsoft and its slow-brewing Xbox Two machine, codenamed 'Anaconda'.

However, there's now new intel that the Xbox Two is gearing up to be even more powerful and advanced as a gaming experience than the PS5.

Ainsley Bowden, arguably the world's third most famous Ainsley after Arsenal right-back Maitland-Niles and jaunty pan-handler Harriott, is a gaming journalist who shared on Twitter that "multiple insiders have now confirmed it's true Xbox 'Anaconda' will be more advanced" than the PS5. Where's that info coming from though?

"Not my sources," Bowden said when somebody asked that exact question. "Rather, known sources for [MicroSoft]/Xbox info that are very reliable and have been accurate for years on leaks. Keep in mind, it shouldn’t be surprising. It was already announced last year by MS directly that they would have the most powerful hardware again next-gen."

Bowden didn't share any more detail on what "more advanced" actually entails, but this points to one of two things: Microsoft feel a bit ruffled by the excitement the PS5 has gathered lately and felt the need to needle back at Sony, or we've got two genuinely brain-melting consoles on the way. Either way, gamers will win. The real question, though: will anything on either the PS5 or Xbox Two be as good as Sky flash game Beehive Bedlam? No, it won't.
