This Free Webinar for Creatives Will Help You Grow and Monetize Your Content Online

Creative professionals worldwide will have access to new online courses through the British Council’s Creative Communities Learning Lab. The webinar series for creatives, such as artists, writers, photographers, streamers, vloggers, and gamers, and other content creators, offers self-led learning designed with specific input from creative hub leaders and their communities in Southeast Asia and the U.K.
The content is free, dynamic, easily accessible, and seeks to respond to the changing knowledge and skills needs of artists, creative entrepreneurs, and cultural professionals all over the world.
Three-Part Webinar Series for Creatives
The initiative identified three key themes that are highly in demand given today’s challenges:
- Managing Digital Communities
- New Ways to Monetize Creative Work
- Strategies to Develop Original Training Content for Creatives
"It was wonderful to have worked with experts from Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, and the U.K. The diversity of their insights and experience has made Creative Communities Learning Lab a truly unique learning resource. We invite creative professionals across the world to take advantage of this opportunity and access the courses," says Julia Davies, British Council interim regional arts director for East Asia.
The British Council tapped the expertise of Creative Friction (U.K.) and Makerspace Manila for this project. Additionally, 17 brilliant hub leaders from the U.K. and Southeast Asia were invited to be part of the project advisory board.
The initiative is supported by the British Council's Creative Hubs for Good program in Southeast Asia.
Creative Communities Learning Lab will officially launch on April 28 through a virtual event. To register, click here.
