If the excruciatingly long process of having to type in a password whenever you join a networkGod forbid!is too much for you, listen up as Apple are changing how the iPhone connects to Wi-Fi networks with their new operating system.

In iOS11 Apple will be introducing a password-sharing feature whereby whenever someone connects to your Wi-Fi network you can allow them access with the single tap of a button.

The Independent reports that: "When an Apple device running iOS 11 tries to connect to your Wi-Fi network for the first time, your Apple deviceas long as it is also running iOS 11will display a prompt saying 'Share Your Wi-Fi'."

"If you're happy to proceed, simply hit the 'Send Password' button, and the other person's handset will connect to the network automatically."

9to5Mac who spotted the feature commented that: "This new flow means you don't have to go find the WiFi password on the back of the router anymore. Just tell your guests to tap on the network name and accept them with a tap on your personal device. The only requirement is that the iPad/iPhone that knows the password must be nearby and unlocked."

Good news for you, bad news for baristas who'll spend all morning clicking 'accept' for every freeloading wi-fi thief.
