Cubao Refuge Today x Future Closes Its Doors Forever

For more than 10 years, generations Y through Z have found a refuge behind the doors of Cubao’s Today x Future, yet those days will now be over as the bar has announced it will be closing its doors permanently.

In an Instagram post, the restaurant and bar announced its closure in an emotional farewell “love letter.”

“After long days and nights of deliberation, wrestling options and way too much alcohol to cushion the emotion, we are left with the decision to say farewell…. We don’t know what the future holds but we hold on to all the unforgettable memories. We’ll always remember them fondly, from the loud, endless singalongs and sardinas sawayan to the quiet moments when we realize how much we all mean to each other.”

Today x Future will hold “one last hurrah” on June 27 with its online Pride celebration. Furur:ist, the “baby sibling” of Today x Future, will remain open in Poblacion.
