This P300 Million Luxury Ibiza Beach Club Has a Lunch Set for P500
Where can your P500 take you? Spain, apparently. Well, sort of. If you squint your eyes just right. The newly opened Ibiza Beach Club at BGC now has a power lunch set, so guests can dine at the resort-themed restaurant for practically the price of a premium movie theater ticket. It’s no hole-in-the-wall either—Manny Osmeña and his business partners brought its Balearic-grilled goodies along with the laid-back beach vibe from its popular dining club in Cebu’s Movenpick hotel.
Its early and late lunch seating, which is offered to guests who come in between 11 a.m. to 11.59 a.m. or 1:15 p.m. to 2 p.m. is a full meal, that includes the Soup of the Day, unlimited trips to the Salad Bar (where they have three kinds of herbed croutons to mix with your greens), and a choice from the Main Course set.
The plated Main Course options that come with mashed potato or garlic rice, grilled vegetables and corn are generous servings of Ibiza’s flavorful and tender Baby Back Ribs, Chicken Drumstick marinated with Paprika, Garlic and Herbs, a Crispy Pork Belly that was pre-marinated with carrot, celery, and peppercorn stock, and the Fish of the Day that is marinated in Manny O wine. Dessert is the club’s Signature Queen Pina, a grilled pineapple served warm and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and crushed nuts, drizzled with honey and served with fresh yogurt. For an extra P100, you can choose an additional course. If you are feeling fancy, there’s the Executive Lunch Special that starts at P1,000 for three courses, with more grill options such as the Filet Mignon, Rib-Eye and Lamb Chops.

Then, if it’s one of those days and you are feeling that need to fill up for dinner, you can also try the full 15-course meal at an introductory price of P2,500++, where the servers will bring skewers loaded with the previously-mentioned grilled meats, along with more options such as Ostrich Meat, buttery Rock Lobsters or Salmon, Tiger Prawns, Cuttlefish, and Beef Short Ribs—and you can ask for seconds and thirds! An additional P600+ offers an unlimited serving of Manny O.’s award-winning wines.
Since they could not haul the Mactan beach to BGC, they brought the resort life here instead. There’s a roofdeck lounge where guests can literally soak in the club’s ambience at a Jacuzzi or they can opt for sofa seats enjoy the cool water elements at the sunken seating.
As with the Cebu restaurant, dinner comes with a show. The Ibiza Beach Club features family-friendly entertainment with a 45-minute visual treat with live singing and dancing to retro pop, disco and Latin music, as well as Broadway and movie musical sequences alongside daring exhibitions. A show band, featured artist or a DJ follows on stage. Everyone can chill out to the music as they dine, dance or drink throughout the night.
