Sneak Peek: Prisma Will Be Boracay's Next Hot Bar

By now, you should've heard of the debacle between an Uber driver and passenger where the former canceled the booking after misinterpreting the latter's message: "Makati, lazy bastard," referring to the hotdog place. But while the meme has brought Lazy Bastard the restaurant to new levels of viraldom, the owners aren't dwelling too much on its effect. They're busy building Prisma, a modern tropical bar in Boracay that might as well be island's next hot night spot.
Being developed by the Pylon Partners Inc., who is also behind ABV (Asia's 14th best bar according to the World's 50 Best Organization), Prisma will boast a host of signature cocktails and classic recipes—all backed by live music. The cocktails will also promote local spirits. Maintaining a tropical theme, the place will be decked out like an oasis—lush foliage, rushing waterfalls, and lots and lots of color. Prisma will be the signature bar of the soon-to-open boutique resort, Hue Hotels & Resorts Boracay.
Romanian expat Andrei Campian will be leading the fray. He's managed bars in Vietnam, California, Romania, and Dubai, and competed in Bacardi Legacy and the UAE National Jameson competitions.
Prisma will open in February 2017, but will be fully operational in May, just in time for the Hue Hotel's grand opening.
Prisma is at Station X, Hue Hotels & Resorts Boracay, Station 2, Main Road, Boracay Island.
