Who Has the Most Epic Cheat Meal Among the Avengers?

Is it Thor, Captain America, or Pepper Potts?

Supes? They’re just like you, weak human, who makes a secret trip to the refrigerator to get two slices of a pecan-covered carrot cake doused with thick milk syrup. Maybe you scarfed it down in under two minutes (a new personal record!) and maybe you didn’t feel too bad about it. After all, if Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) takes on an epic cheat meal of a cheeseburger with a side of ice cream—a respectable 808 calories—then all is good and well. Please continue eating.

Online product review site Rave Reviews analyzed the cheat meals with macros (fat, protein, carbs, sugar, carbs) of more than 80 celebrities, from movie stars to sports heroes, to figure out if these famous people are really going all out or just pulling your leg. To wit, model Emily Ratajkowski’s idea of a cheat meal—a cupcake or croissant—weighs in at only 305 calories.

The Avengers Cheat Meals: Who Has a Superhero Appetite?

But back to superhero appetites: Among the cast of The Avengers, the biggest eater is Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), whose interesting cheat meal includes two boxes of mozzarella sticks and a pint of ice cream. These total to a superhero-worthy 1,632 calories and also explains how she can push a 5,000-pound Jeep.

Larson outdoes all the male Avengers such as Thor (Chris Hemsworth), who comes in at third place with 1,256 calories of ham and pineapple pizza (are you triggered?), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), at fourth with 1,242 calories of a shrimp sandwich plus milkshake, and the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), at fifth with 1,114 calories of fried chicken.

The hot-right-now Scarlet Witch of WandaVision (Elizabeth Olsen) chooses cake at 786 calories, but Vision’s (Paul Bettany) cheat meal details are not included in the list because, you know, an android can’t eat.

As for very specific choices, there are Pepper Potts’ (Gwyneth Paltrow) martini, Hawkeye’s (Jeremy Renner) cookie dough roll, and Thanos’ (Josh Brolin) vegan Earl Gray doughnuts “with lashings of icing.”

Celebrity Cheat Meals: Who Are The Top Three Eaters?

In the larger pool of various celebrities, this is the biggest cheat meal: a large pizza from Pizza Hut and three tubs of ice cream from Ben & Jerry’s. That mouthwatering 3879-calorie set is consumed by professional strongman competitor Brian Shaw.

Second-place holder The Rock has a simpler approach with four double-dough pizzas at 3,840 calories, while third placer Terry Crews has a varied 2,988-calorie spread of three pizzas, a peach cobbler, and vanilla ice cream.

Notable cheat meals include wrestler Natalie Eva Marie’s 20 banana pancakes and bacon waffles and basketball superstar LeBron James’ “five pieces of French toast drowned in syrup with strawberries and bananas followed by a four-egg omelet.” And the most relatable cheat meal might belong to singer Rihanna, who prefers Oreos, Capri Sun, Hot Cheetos, Haribo gummy bears, Babybel cheese, and stuffed olives.

Of note, Filipino senator and pro boxer Manny Pacquaio lands at the tail end of the cheat meal rankings with only 332 calories from—get ready—warm milk and beef broth. We’re not sure if this is a happy treat. See the full list and more on the site.

So should you have a cheat meal? Rave, which gathered food details from lifestyle publications and nutritional data from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Nutritionix to come up with its infographics, notes how a diet break may help you follow your food program better. But that doesn’t mean eating like there’s no tomorrow or having a caloriefest every day.

As with all pleasurable things in life, cheat in moderation.
