Dunkin' Donuts Is Making Coffee-Flavored... Cereal. Because, Why Not?
The Dunkin’ Donuts junkie in all of us can rejoice. The brand just announced that it’s launching coffee-flavored cereal to add to your morning meal. Because, why not?
Dunkin’ is partnering with Post Consumer Brands in the U.S. to create two flavors of “Dunkin’ Cereal” that will be made from the all-time fan favorite at Dunkin’ Donuts: Dunkin’ coffee. (Sorry, choco butternut).
“Getting the flavor right on our new cereals was a top priority, and we think we’ve nailed the rich, smooth and creamy taste,” said Josh Jans, brand manager at cereal partnerships at Post.
The two flavors are Caramel Macchiato and Mocha Latte, and both come with swirled marshmallows to satisfy your sugar fix.
For now, the new cereal will be launched only in the U.S., but given Dunkin’s loyal customer base in the Philippines, it’s only a matter of time before Dunkin’ cereal hits our shelves.
As for the caffeine levels, each serving has less than 10 milligrams of caffeine or a tenth of a cup of coffee.
If that’s not enough for you, might as well buy Dunkin’ coffee with the cereal and use that as your milk. The more Dunkin’, the better.
