Who wouldn't love to indulge on tender, juicy steak whenever the craving calls for it? A thick, juicy steak often comes with an expensive price tag, which is why it's commonly served during special occasions and celebrations.

But, hey, we were proved wrong when we found that eating steak can be a little more attainable when it's priced half or a quarter of what fine dining restaurants offer. Enter Farmery, a lovely, rustic restaurant where your juicy steak-related dreams come true for the measly price of P499.
What you need to know
Farmery's platter of the Ribeye Love You (witty, ah!) highlights the imported US ribeye. There are three different meal sizes available: P290 for regular, P390 for medium, and P490 for large, all of which entitles you to a choice of sides.
All of Farmery's steaks come with a choice of one side. You can choose to pair your Ribeye Love You with the fries, wedges (with carrot and garlic mayo sauce), Aglio e olio pasta, mixed greens, rice (white, brown, or garlic), two organic eggs, smashed potatoes (yes, it's smashed, not mashed), or the SFER: Steak Fat Egg Rice.
What we love about it
One word: cheap. In other words: inexpensive, affordable, reasonable, and worth the money! Don't get us wrong, of course, we came in a little skeptical ordering a medium-rare ribeye steak for only P490. But as soon as we took our first bite, we were pleasantly surprised with how tender and juicy it was.
Farmery's Ribeye Love You comes with an already seasoned steak, so don't jump in and add salt and pepper without tasting it on its own. And because the ribeye is already seasoned, the gravy that accompanies it can be omitted, but with the addition of the sweet, oniony gravy makes it all the more delicious. (Tip: ordering an extra serving of gravy is free!)
We paired ours with a glass of Farmery's refreshing cardamom iced tea and chose SFER: Steak Fat Egg Rice for our side dish. We recommend choosing this as your side dish because you can't go wrong with double the steak flavor! The crunchy steak bits are stir-fried with the egg rice, then thinly coated with the steak juice. Don't worry, it doesn't leave an unpleasant oily feeling afterward.
