You Can Now Drink and Dine at the Highest Rooftop Bar in the Philippines

The Grand Hyatt Manila recently opened The Peak, and it’s literally at the top of many nightlife experiences in the country. If you are looking to enjoy the luxe life with major Wolf of Wall Street vibes, this is one of the places to see and be seen, for several reasons:
1| The Peak is the highest rooftop bar/restaurant in the country.
The Peak is located at the 60th to 62nd floors of the highest structure in the Philippines to date. Grand Hyatt Manila stands at 318 meters, and the view from the open areas and through the large picture windows is nothing short of breathtaking. It is inspired by penthouse living where each area is designed to encourage relaxation with friends.
2| It’s got choices for the type of socializing you are in the mood for.
The rooms are interconnected, so you can flow from one place to another to enjoy a different experience. The areas are designed by Tokyo-based international design firm, Nao Taniyama & Associates, and touches of the local culture is reflected in every room. The main receiving area, for example, has bold statement walls inspired by traditional Filipino tattoo patterns.
3| There are two whiskey bars at the Peak.
One offers luxe mancave feels with black leather seats and mood lighting, while the other one is a homey, well-lit area with a communal table where you can sit with other guests as you wait for your food orders to be prepped ala minute by a private chef (they’ve got seared scallops on the menu!). The Peak Bar is another place where you can congregate with friends, this time over champagne and fresh oysters.
4| You can dance at the Music Lounge.
There are few places to go in Metro Manila for music and dancing, and it just added another one in the form of The Peak’s Music Lounge. It features an international band and resident DJs, along with a floor area where you can show off your moves.
5| Aside from offering handcrafted drinks and bar chow, it’s got an honest-to-goodness steak restaurant.
You can start off with Maryland crab cakes, then order a serving of Australian wagyu rib eye from their open kitchen, to be paired with a selection from their new and old world wines.
The Peak is located at the 60th to 62nd floor of Grand Hyatt Manila, 8th Avenue, corner 35th Street Bonifacio Global City Taguig. For reservations and more details, call +632 8381234 or email [email protected].
