Build yourself a power-packed green smoothie

A quick something to tide you over when you don't have time for anything else.

Smoothies aren't equivalent to an actual meal, but they're an easy and well-rounded way to tide you over when you're hungry or rejuvenate you after a strenuous feat. Plus, and perhaps most importantly, they're a cinch to make. 

Here's a go-to recipe for a power-packed green smoothie that'll give you enough energy to go through your tasks. That is, until your next meal. 


  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 tsp maca powder (available at Healthy Options)
  • 1/4 tsp Spirulina
  • 1 tbsp coco sugar
  • 40 g greens
  • 1 cup of crushed ice


Blend all ingredients (ice being last) until it has a smoothie consistency and enjoy!
