After almost a year since it was first announced, popular burger chain Shake Shack is finally here in Manila. Excitement has been brewing for months, especially after a sizable area of Central Square in Bonifacio Global City was closed down and boarded up with posters of Shake Shack, marking it as the burger place's first location in the Philippines.

Finally, on April 29, Monday, Store Specialists Inc., the official local partner of the global food brand in the Philippines, gave a press preview at Shake Shack’s first store in the country. The branch, which will officially open to the public on May 10, has all of the Shake Shack favorites, from the Shackburger to the Shack Stack. Filipino fans will also treated to some localized offerings, like the Ube Shake and Calamansi Pie Oh My.

But the question on everyone’s mind is simple: Are the burgers going to break the bank?

Fortunately for Filipinos, it doesn’t seem so. In the infographic on this page, we compared the prices of Shake Shack’s most popular burger offerings—the Hamburger, the Shack Burger (its cheeseburger variant), and the Shack Stack (its most deluxe offering)—to some of the most popular local burger chain’s similar counterparts.

It showed that if Shake Shack’s burgers are ordered ala carte and in regular size with no extra fillings, their prices don’t veer away much from what is currently being offered by local burger chains.

The only Shake Shack burger that may really hurt one’s pockets is the Shack Stack, which is technically a combination of two cheeseburgers. We're not complaining.
