Jollibee's First Restaurant in Spain Might Just Be Its Most Beautiful Store to Date
Jollibee’s been making sure to redesign its international branches in hopes of attracting more locals, but the homegrown restaurant group is pulling out all the stops for its first restaurant in Spain, which might just be its most aesthetic store to date.
Decked in bright colors and its island-themed design, Jollibee’s first restaurant in Spain even features a full-sized palm tree right at the center of the restaurant to pay tribute to the brand’s Philippine roots.
No doubt a future winner with OFWs in Spain, the restaurant is located in the heart of Madrid in Puerto Del Sol square and situated on the popular and historic Calle del Arenal. The branch, which can accommodate up to 180 guests, will open on September 23.
Aside from its reimagined store design, the Spanish branch features a double-height dining hall, outdoor seating, and digital kiosks.

It’s Jollibee’s first foray into Spain, and hopefully not the last as the conglomerate plans to open 50 stores in Europe in the next five years as part of its aggressive international expansion plan. Jollibee Foods Corporation will be spending €50 million (P2.9 billion) on its European expansion, with €10 million (P587 million) going to Spain. The Philippine restaurant chain might just be on its way to dominating Spain’s fast-food market.
