Take a page from these men who know how to feed the body and, more important, nourish the soul. This week, a marketing consultant shares his no-guilt bread recipe.
Many people have been choosing to better themselves during the quarantine. For Jeremiah Causing, a marketing and business consultant for SMEs, it's all about making small improvements in his lifestyle, from developing a hobby to eating healthy. He's been spending the worst of the pandemic in Pampanga and his keto pandesal recipe is the result of his self-improvement.
"If you are on a low-carb diet, you would know how hard it is to find a bread recipe that promises the taste of bread and has the consistency of an actual bread made with all the carbs from regular flour," he tells Esquire. Unlike most of the quarantine bread recipes we've seen where there's a lot of kneading and proofing and kneading, Causing's version is a quick six-step road to low-carb satisfaction. In fact, the whole process takes just a little over an hour. It's a fast fix for anyone who needs a little cheesy bread to go with their cup of coffee.
