This Simple Trick Will Stop You From Feeling Tired At Work
Work is endlessly tiring. Doesn't matter how strenuous your job is. Even if you spend the whole day color-coding spreadsheets and watching YouTube videos on the sly, it's still exhausting.
Extra sleep doesn't help—somehow that just leaves you feel even more tired—and coffee just makes your brain scream. What's the answer?
Well, according to a study by the Journal of Occupational Health Psychology, a leisurely 15-minute walk at lunch can make you feel alert and ready to tackle the day.
Researchers surveyed 100 people across a variety of fields and told them to introduce some new routines to their lunchtimes
Half of them would go to a local park to surround themselves with nature, and the other were asked to conduct a selection of breathing exercises and mindfulness techniques.
Both groups noticed an improvement in their productivity and concentration. So yeah—that's the deal. Go outside. Have a stroll. LIVE.
You should probably stop staying up until 2 a.m. reading random Wikipedia pages too, while you're at it.
