Manny Pacquiao's Boxing Gloves Are up for Auction, in Case Anyone Still Wants Them

On the eve of Chinese New Year, it’s probably a good idea to settle all debts and disputes to ensure a smooth year ahead. Or, better yet, you could be enjoying an afternoon of sipping wine and marveling at well-curated art. If you're keen on finally getting some masterpieces on your wall, set a reminder for January 28, 4:00 p.m., because that's when Harringtons Lifestyle Auction will present “Treasures of the Century II,” an extensive showcase of authentic and well-curated items for discerning collectors such as yourself. 

Among the master artworks up for grabs are Arturo Luz's Palitana, Juvenal Sanso's Landscape, Manuel Garibay's The Priest, Mauro Malang's 2002 mixed media artwork, Romulo Olazo's 2012 oil painting Diaphanous, and Eduardo Castrillo's bronze sculpture Crucifix. 

Certainly not to be missed from the collectibles are an original signed guitar from Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, boxing gloves from Manny Pacquiao and Shane Mosely, a Chickering & Sons baby grand piano, NBA-signed basketballs, vintage vinyls, and World War II memorabilia.

And, sure, you’d think that paintings and memorabilia like these would probably end up going for too much money, but according to Harringtons Lifestyle General Manager Cila Chua, “[The] selection will not be limited to high-priced pieces as often associated with auctions. There will be something for every collector.”

Over 200 items will be on display and open for bidding.
