Hidilyn Diaz Gets the Keys to Her Swanky New P14 Million Eastwood Condo

Want a fully-furnished two-bedroom condo for free? Just lift 127 kilograms at the Olympics and bag a gold medal.
Hidilyn Diaz finally got the keys to her luxurious new condo in Eastwood City earlier today, just one of the first of her many gifts and pledges after achieving the Philippines’ first gold. Megaworld chief strategy officer Kevin Tan made good on his father’s promise, property magnate Andrew Tan, to gift Diaz with a P14 million condo.
The best part? It’s fully furnished and designed by Megaworld’s in-house, top-tier design team. They also threw in a full set of fancy plates and cutlery. The neutral-toned condo also comes with a new TV, fridge, stove, modular cabinets, and an entire set of indoor plants. And as plant parents know, those tall plants don’t come cheap.

“All that Hidilyn and her family need to do is just bring their clothes and other personal effects, and they are good to stay in the unit,” said Kevin Tan. “She has brought so much pride to our country and she deserves all these rewards for her hard work in raising our flag so high in the Tokyo Olympics.”
As if the luxurious décor that would make any member of Home Buddies jealous wasn’t enough—can we just appreciate that rug?—Diaz was also gifted with two pieces of art made in her honor. Both were crafted by young artist John Ken Gomez and depict Diaz’s historic and emotional win for the Philippines.

Diaz will now have access to the first-class amenities of One Eastwood Avenue, which includes a badminton court, landscaped gardens, a lap pool, sunbathing lounge, a bar, sky gardens, yoga room, meditation garden, chess area, and a fitness center where she’ll no doubt be spending her time.
Eastwood City is also known to house plenty of other celebrities and personalities, so privacy is also assured in the township.
All jokes aside, this condo is definitely worthy of the country’s sole gold medalist, who also recently received a Kia Stonic, P1 million worth of products from Ever Bilena, and cash incentives from the MVP Sports Foundation and representative Mikee Romero.
As most Filipinos know by now, prior to the Olympics, the gold medalist sacrificed plenty to win her gold and even had to go on social media to beg for financial support for athletes. After bringing home a gold medal, Hidilyn Diaz is finally receiving what she deserves.
