Michael Jordan is known all over for many things. From sports and business, the 58-year-old has definitely made his mark in the world. So much so, in fact, that from his appearances alone, he could literally make millions and millions of dollars.

In one instance, MJ was invited to a golf tournament appearance in the Philippines for which he would be paid $7 million (approximately P350 million) for one day. Sounds easy enough, right? But, the six-time NBA champion casually turned down the offer.

The offer was nothing, however, compared to another $100 million deal that would have the athlete turn up to a two-hour appearance. Still, he declined the offer. The deals were revealed in a recent podcast with Jordan's former agent David Falk. Read below.

[Jordan] turned down a deal to do a one-day golf appearance when he was in Asia a few years ago for a pre-season game with Charlotte. And some woman in the Philippines offered me $7 million dollars (USD) for one day, wanted him to play in a golf tournament. And he turned it down. I brought him a deal three years ago for $100 million (USD). And all he had to do, other than give his name and likeness, was make one two-hour appearance to announce the deal. And he turned it down.

Falk clarified that it wasn't about the money for Jordan. He explained, "He's been so successful, it gives him the opportunity to do whatever the hell he wants or not to do things he doesn’t want." The agent added that Jordan is "very, very selective" in the stuff he wants to involve himself in.
