Nesthy Petecio Is Getting a P10 Million Condominium From Tycoon Andrew Tan
Nesthy Petecio has just won the silver medal at the women's featherweight boxing finals at the Tokyo Olympics, and already the athlete is racking up gifts and rewards from the country's most prominent tycoons.
Her latest gift? A fully furnished Suntrust Properties condominium in Davao City from tycoon Andrew Tan. The P10-million One Lakeshore Drive property is set inside the 11.2-hectare Davao Park District in Lanang, Davao City.
"We are very proud of this huge accomplishment of Netshy Petecio," says Atty. Harrison Paltongan, president of Suntrust Properties, Inc. "Her silver medal in the Olympics is a historic one because this women's featherweight division of boxing debuts only in this Tokyo Olympics, and she is the first silver medalist in the category. Rightfully, she deserves the reward from our chairman, Dr. Andrew L. Tan, for the pride she gives to the Filipino nation."
Suntrust Properties, owned by the Megaworld Corporation, was also one of the first to shower Hidilyn Diaz with gifts. Diaz was given a residential condominium unit in Eastwood City as the Philippines' first Olympic gold medalist.
Petecio will have a unit in the expansive township community in Davao City, which is a little over an hour away from her hometown of Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur. Scroll down for more photos and a video tour.
