As much as everyone wants to see their favorite Filipino athletes compete live, time, and distance are the biggest obstacles facing those hoping to attend the upcoming Southeast Asian Games.

The biennial multi-sport tilt runs for a whole workweek and a half (from November 30 to December 11). Also, not all of the historic 56 events will be held in Metro Manila, with some happening in Capas (New Clark City), Subic, and other Luzon venues.

To make sure everyone gets to watch the SEA Games, 5 and Cignal TV recently announced that it will be the official broadcaster of the 30th SEA Games.

The TV group is out to give the viewing public the "most comprehensive, up-to-date, and in-depth coverage on free-to-air, pay TV, and digital," through its umbrella campaign "Sama-Sama sa SEA Games." 5 and Cignal TV aims to bring Pinoys here and abroad together to rally behind our representatives.

Free-to-air viewers can catch the games via 5 and 5 Plus, while Cignal customers have One Sports and three new channels—SEA Games Channel, Team Pilipinas, and SEA Games News Channel—to choose from. Take note that these new channels are exclusive for Cignal and SatLite subscribers.

Meanwhile, online users have several options: ESPN5.com, the Cignal Play app, and three SEA Games-dedicated YouTube channels and Facebook Live available 24/7.
