That screaming you just heard from your officemates huddled around the UAAP livestream was the sound of victory coming from the UP Fighting Maroons. 

The Maroons have been the sentimental favorites—and scrappy underdogs—of the entire UAAP basketball season, and they have just upset the Adamson Falcons in a breakout win that gets them a spot in the Finals. It's the first time in 32 years (the last time was in 1986) that the Maroons have landed a top spot in the games.

Through the hashtags #UPFight and #AtinTwo, we found out that there's nothing like a long-awaited thirsty victory to bring out everyone’s good humor—and political beliefs.
