Here's your ticket out: Airbnb is looking for 12 people to live anywhere in the world for one year. Most important, it's for free.

The program, aptly called Live Anywhere on Airbnb, is inspired by the growing popularity of work from home schemes. Think of yourself as a test monkey as you experience living and earning money while traveling. What does Airbnb get in return? Precious insights on features, services, and more on living nomadically, which will shape the future of the platform. See, it's a fair deal and everybody wins.

As long as you're above the age of 18, you can join the program. And, if you get through, you can even bring up to three companions along the adventure. Aside from accommodations, Airbnb will also provide an allowance for transportation for the duration of the program.

You better act fast, though, as the applications are only open until June 30. The program starts soon, too. From July 2021 to July 2022, you'll be traveling and living in listings on Airbnb. You can apply here.

"Whether it’s joining Zoom meetings by the beach, taking family on the ultimate road trip, or learning a new language in a favorite city–participants can make the world their home," Airbnb said in a statement. "We will ask that they share their experiences with us to help inform future product upgrades and innovations on the platform to better accommodate nomadic living."

In a report, Airbnb found that stays of 28 days or longer have increased 10 percent in 2021 compared to 2019.
