Ayala Land Opens Eco-Friendly Resort in El Nido

Ayala Land has opened its newest resort, Huni Lio, in El Nido, Palawan. The project is part of Ayala Land's Lio Tourism Estate, a tourism development that puts prime importance on environmental awareness and sustainability. Apart from educating its staff and the local community about environmental preservation, the resort also shuns the use of plastics for its shampoos and other supplies.
Huni, a Filipino word which refers to the chirping of birds, is one Ayala Land's brands of elegant yet affordable beachfront resorts. The first Huni opened on Sicogon Island in Iloilo in July 2018.

"Huni offers good value for couples and groups seeking to better appreciate nature, to try out new activities or to just relax. Wherever a Huni property is found, guests can be assured of a relaxing vacation. We envision that in the future, guests will be in the habit of booking a Huni room each time they want to explore an Ayala Land destination," said Joey Bernardino, group director for sales and marketing of Ten Knots Development Corporation (a subsidiary of Ayala Land), in a statement.
