If you've ever wanted to visit the Land of the Rising Sun, now's your chance! As per their official website, Japan Airlines is giving away 50,000 roundtrip plane tickets starting February 2020.

The offer is meant to promote Japan's less visited rural areas, dubbed as mystery destinations. During the application process, those interested are presented with four possible locations. However, if you're not content with the options given, you still have the chance to search for new ones. JAL will then present you with your final destination, out of the four you've approved, within three days of filing your application.

The tickets are valid for visitors who will be in Japan between July 1 to September 30, 2020. Additionally, flights are expected to depart from and return to either Tokyo (Haneda Aiport) or Osaka (Kansai Airport or Itami Airport) only.

Note that you're only eligible to apply for a ticket if: 1) you have a passport that proves you're a non-Japanese resident; 2) you have a Japanese visa; and 3) if you're a JAL Mileage Bank member.
