London has been named the world's most appealing city for the ninth year in a row. On the annual Global Power City Index of the Mori Memorial Foundation's Institute for Urban Strategies, the capital and largest city of England and the United Kingdom dominates, even as Brexit weighs.

The index looks at a city's magnetism; in short, how attractive cities are to people, enterprises, and more. From economy and livability to development and environment, the ranking grasps the weaknesses, and challenges of each city.
