Hannah's Beach Resort

Right at the edge of the popular Blue Lagoon beach is this humble yet comfortable inn. Boasting powdery white sand and crystal blue waters, Blue Lagoon feels like it was plucked from that Brooke Shields film and then placed at the tip of northern Luzon. Blue Lagoon is a perennial favorite in Pagudpod, and its consistent crowd has assured a bevy of hotels and inns, restaurants, as well as activities. In its portfolio, Hannah's boasts water sports, trekking, hiking, ziplining, and a day tour of Ilocos Norte.

Pannzian Beach Resort

You say you want to disconnect? Pannzian doesn't have WiFi or even a TV. Its simple premise invites you to relax and unwind the good old-fashioned way. Once home to its owners, the entire area has been converted into a resort, with the main house split into rooms and new wings and villas expanding the living space. There are watersports, as well as games, bonfires, a library, board games, and movie nights (the closest you'll ever get to a television).

Saud Beach & Resort

Considered by many to be the "Boracay of the north," Saud Beach is an award-winning paradise, having been included in Melbourne Sunday Herald Sun's most beautiful beaches list. The rustic hotel features well-appointed rooms complete with a veranda (that assures every guest a sunset view). On the golden sand, there are facilities for swimming, snorkeling, diving, kayaking, and windsurfing. There are also beach huts closer to the water.

Kingfisher

Once a collection of huts, this humble resort has expanded to more accommodations, including casitas, cabanas, rooms, and suites. There is a game room, a social hall, and a nearby waterfall. A favorite among foreign travelers, Kingfisher's terroir lends itself well to action-packed water activities. The water is flat, which also makes it safer for children.

Villa del Nico

This is more a private villa than a resort, but it has its own pool and beachfront. Villa del Nico boasts four bedrooms and four bathrooms and can fit as many as 20 people. There are cozy huts by the pool and another one right next to the beach.

Casa Consuelo

Often fully booked during the peak seasons, Casa Consuelo is a humble inn with its own private beach space, badminton courts, and water activity catalog. It's smack in between the beach and the city center, giving guests the best of both worlds. The hotel is also close to Dos Hermanos Island, Maira-ira Beach, and Bantay Abot Cave. Its selection of rooms ranges from simple single-occupancy dwellings to lofts good for five to a large duplex that can fit a big family comfortably.
