A survey from the Small Luxury Hotels of the World has revealed luxury guests are more than just travel-ready; they're also increasing demand for luxury holidays. Over 6,000 members of a luxury brand consultation service were surveyed to come up with the results.
61 percent of participants said they planned to take "safer" vacations in the form of domestic travel, with a preference for smaller hotels.
“Our members have always shown great resilience and an enduring appetite for travel so it’s encouraging to see that they are Travel Ready, looking at options both close to home and abroad for 2020,” said Richard Hyde, managing director of Small Luxury Hotels of the World.
Now, not all rich people are indifferent about travel restrictions. Most international bookings were made for travel next year, with the top destinations being France and the United Kingdom.
All pretty great results from the survey... but, who are we kidding, they've probably started jetting off somewhere already. Case in point: Jay-Z and Beyonce are currently enjoying a European vacation. According to reports, the couple are renting a superyacht for $2 million a week.
Ah, to be rich.
