The rainy season might be here in the Philippines, but Kelsey Merritt is causing a heatwave all on her own. The model posed in an assortment of swimwear in just-released photos for Sports Illustrated's swimsuit edition.

Merritt, who made her Sports Illustrated debut in 2019, showcased her incredible physique and sun-kissed skin on an idyllic beach somewhere in the world. The 24-year-old was shot by photographer Ben Watts who was equally excited about the photoshoot.

The Victoria's Secret model highlighted the fact that the latest issue championed diversity. "I am so proud of the roster of girls in this issue, so happy to see so much diversity in every aspect of it," she said. Read her full caption on Instagram below.

After posting the initial set of photos, Merritt wasn't quite done with us. She posted even more from the photo shoot on Wednesday morning. She wrote: "Some more of @si_swimsuit because why not!! ???? Which one is your fave? #siswim"

The latest issue of Sports Illustrated's swimsuit edition was full of firsts. For the first time, the covers featured a transgender model, a black athlete, and a rapper with Leyna Bloom, Naomi Osaka, and Megan Thee Stallion.
