We'd Love to Hang Loose with These Filipina Surfers

It's the week after Holy Week, and frankly, we're still recovering from our post-vacay slump. We’d love to say we’re used to it by now, but every time we spend a few days in a cool surf town, we're ready to quit our day job and move there. If only we’d ever gotten past the first surf lesson.
In any case, if you’ve ever been to La Union, Baler or Siargao, you’ve likely encountered the surfer girl, a unique female specimen which can be found chasing the perfect wave, stretching out in hammocks, and driving around in beat-up Volkswagen vans. Oh, and they also do Instagram really well, as you can see here.
